The origins of Outdoor Unlimited Training go back to 1995 and Jerez de la Frontera in Spain. There the biggest outdoor programme ever in German business history was set up to train employees and distributors of a big German car manufacturer for over eighteen months. |
The core of this team in Jerez established Outdoor Unlimited Training in 1996, which is managed by Ralf Becker - former course-director in Jerez. The aim of Outdoor Unlimited Training was to created a training company which combines seminars with experiential learning and action-orientated outdoor activities, to achieve quality outcomes for all participants.
In 1997 we started a co-operation with one of the most famous English providers of outdoor management development training: BRATHAY. The history of BRATHAY started over fifty years ago in the Lake District and is closely related to the history of outdoor training in general.
We balance action with reflection, imparting competence not only by cognitive understanding, but through participant’s direct experience.
We review the outcome of every seminar and evaluate our results, so as to constantly improve our quality and safety standards. Continuous improvement, coupled with continuing education and development, is fundamental to the way we see our work.
The basic motor of Outdoor Unlimited Training – indeed, the reason for setting up the company – is our enthusiasm for what we do and the fun that comes with working together with people. In the end people are only good at what they really enjoy doing.
